In case I didn't mention it, writing is a passion of mine! Combining my love for writing and photographing your families makes my journal even better. Here you can find recent photo sessions, as well as tips/advice and just stories about life. I can't wait to connect with you!
Last week was Expo week, and it sure was a good one! This was Reagan’s third year to show a goat, and each year I have loved watching her do her thing. I typically see her standing in the circle pitching a softball, so it was a nice change of pace from how we usually spend our time.
This year, Reagan AND Sadie were going to show goats, but it was a little bit more of a challenge for our Sadie Bugg. We ended up just putting both goats in Reagan’s name, which ended up being a HUGE blessing because her better goat goat sick and died two weeks before the show. We were super nervous on how the other goat was going to do, but he ended up securing himself 5th in his class and making the sale. Praise God! Our goat was names Spot, and I think that name fit him perfectly.
While Reagan got to show Spot in the actual expo, Sadie got to show a pig AND the Grand Champion Lamb during the Expo of Champions! I absolutely love this event that our county puts on each year. It is such an amazing opportunity for kiddos that have difficulties to get to actually be apart of the Expo.
I am so beyond proud of both of these girls! They worked hard and got to see the fruit of their labor. A BIG thank you to the Hillock family for purchasing our goat. Y’all are amazing and God sure did bless us through y’all. Thank you!
