Here you can find the answers to my most frequently asked questions.  I know the process of planning for a photo session can be a little overwhelming, and I want to make it as easy as possible.  You can also find information about my loyalty and referral program for my repeat clients! 

Time and Location

Q:  What time of day is best for pictures?

I prefer to take pictures around sunset.  The lighting is super golden and it creates a beautiful effect on my clients.  On occasion I will schedule sessions around sunrise because the lighting is crisp.

Q:  DO I need to find a location or will you find one for me?

If you have a location in mind, I would LOVE to capture your memory in that location.  I also understand the pressure and stress it can cause when trying to find a location, therefore, I also do not mind choosing a location for your session based on what type of style you are looking for.

Style and extras

Q:  I have no idea what to wear.  Can you help me with that?

Absolutely!  I have created a few style boards on Pinterest based on what type of session you have booked.  You can follow this link to find my Pinterest boards.

Q:  How many outfit changes do I have with my session?

Each full session includes two outfit changes.  More outfit changes can be added for an additional cost.

Q:  I have a large group.  Is there an additional charge for large groups?

This is a great question!  Your session cost covers yp to 6 people.  If you group has more than six people there will be an additional $10 per person charge added to your session cost.

Q:  Is there a charge for mileage?

Your session fee covers yp to 30 miles outside of Corsicana, TX.  For each mile outside of Corsicana there will be a mileage fee.

Weddings and events

Q:  Do you photograph Weddings?

Currently I do not photograph weddings.  I can recommend some amazing wedding photographers if you are interested, so please just let me know.

Q:  Do you photograph births?

I do!  Due to the fact that births require the blocking off of my calendar, I only photograph a limited number of births each year.  For more information on my birth photography pricing, please contact me.

Q:  Do you photograph private parties?

I do offer my services for private parties.  My rate is $200/hour.  If you are interested in having a private party photographed, please contact me and we can discuss pricing further.

Q:  Do you offr payment plans for your event photography?

All of my event photography is different in terms of payment plans.  I require a nonrefundable retainer fee of 25% to secure your date.  The rest of your balance is due a month before your event date.

Booking and post production

Q:  How long does it take to get my images?

For a regualr portrait session you should allow 2-3 weeks to get your online gallery.  For events, you should allow 4-6 weeks.

Q:  How will I receive my images?

All sessions come with an online gallery where you can download your images straight to you computer or phone.  If you book me for an event, you will receive a USB with all of your edited images.  USBs are available upon request and additional charge for portrait sessions.

Q:  Can I re-edit an image if I am not happy with it?

When you book your session or event with me, you will be required to sign a contract that does NOT give you the right to alter my images in any way.  If you are unhappy with your images, then you can email me and we will discuss a plan of action.

Q:  How do I book?

It's super simple to book your session or event with me!  Just fill out the contact form on the contact page OR you can email me directly at briana@brianawhistlerphoto.com.

Q:  What is required to book my session or event?

When you book your session or event, you will receive a contract and an invoice for a retainer fee of 25% of your total session or event cost.  This retainer fee is nonrefundable and it secures your date.

Referral and loyalty programs

What is a loyalty program?

A loyality program is simple.  It's my way of saying thank you so much for coming back and booking more sessions with me.  

How does it work?

If you have already booked a full session with me in the past, you will receive 25% off your total session cost when you book your next full session with me.  There is no limit to how many times you can book.  This means that every time you book a full session with me after you have already booked with me, you will automatically receive 25% off! 

What is a referral program?

There is nothing more amazing than to book a new client, BUT to book a new client because your previous client recommended you makes it even better!  My referral program is my way of saying thank you so past clients and to new clients that come to me through a referral.

How does your referral program work?

It's so easy and simple.  If you refer a client to me and they book a full session, you will receive $25 off your next full session you book.  The friend you referred will also receive $25 off the next full session they book with me.  When your friend or family member books their session, they must fill out how they heard about me.  This is where they would put your name down for the referral.  Once their session or event is completed, I will send you your gift.
