Jenine, Doug, and Sam | Guffey Family | Texas Lifestyle and Wedding Photography

So there’s this thing that I love.  It makes my heart happy, and it brings a smile to my face.  This thing is when a session turns out AWESOME.  This session was definitely one of those things.

 

I’ve known Jenine for a number of years.  We go to church together, and I helped her some with the Women’s Ministry department.  She is kind, loving, giving, and super happy every time I see her.  Being in her presence is always a joy!  Getting to take pictures of her was no exception.  Even when she felt awkward, she still smiled and made some GREAT pictures.

 

Doug and Sam I haven’t been around as much, but they were troopers and did every single thing I asked of them.  Their attitudes were fantastic!  I love when people are willing to go along with what I say.  And because of that, their pictures are beautiful.

 

It had literally been raining for a week.  Like barely any breaks.  Just.  Rain.  When we did this session, the sun decided to come out, and it was perfect!  The lighting created great skin tones, and I couldn’t have been more pleased.  Plus, their outfits were spot on.  I love neutral, natural colors.  Browns, greens, navy, yellows, cream.  They create a good contrast, but also allow my subjects to stand out.  They did a fantastic job of choosing their outfits!
