Carrisa and Josh Rogers Wedding | Texas Wedding and Portrait Photography

Carissa and Josh Rogers.  These two people are pretty awesome.  When I met them for their engagement pictures I just knew that they were going to do great things in their marriage.  The look of love on both of their faces was so beautiful, but even more beautiful than that was the look of adoration and respect they gave to each other.

Both Carissa and Josh have overcome some pretty horrendous obstacles in their lives that no one should even have to consider overcoming.  Listening to Carissa tell me their story was breathtaking.  They aren’t just a couple, but they are a team.  They are a team that also includes and blends together the lives of their children.

The whole wedding was centered around the blending of their two families and it was done so amazingly well.  Each child got to choose a color of sand and participate in the sand ceremony.  They also played a game during the reception in which the whole family got to participate.  Josh danced with both girls during a father daughter dance.  Of course Carissa danced with both boys during a mother son dance.  I really loved it!
