Where to even begin with this couple. I have known Eric for years. He was always my husband’s friend and mentor when it came to Youth Expo stuff (for those of you that don’t know what this is, I didn’t either until I met my husband). He was my first boss, and he quickly became my good friend.
I love McKenzie! She is bright and bubbly and she has a mind of her own. She keeps Eric in line for sure. The first time I met her she was so kind and made everyone feel comfortable. I love that about her.
When Eric met McKenzie, he was hesitant. Both of them had children from previous marriages, and the dynamic was different, BUT I knew he really liked her. It was so amazing getting to see their relationship from the beginning. Their ups and downs gave them so much strength as a couple and just as people in general.
When they got engaged I knew I wanted to capture their special day. I was so blessed that they allowed me to be a part of it. They got married in December at a small local church. The church had a ton of rustic charm. Their budget wasn’t large, but you wouldn’t even know it based on how amazing McKenzie did on her DIY skills. There were so many unique elements to this weddings! From the blankets to snuggle with if you got cold, to the s’mores bar, to the food truck I seriously loved this wedding so much.
